Meta Museum primarily processes museum collection metadata, provider source URLs, generated diagnostics, and review evidence needed to keep claims auditable.
Page analytics
When Google Analytics is enabled, Meta Museum uses GA4 page analytics to understand public-site usage only after this browser grants analytics consent. The privacy choices control lets visitors accept, decline, or change analytics storage later. Ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied in the site tag.
Provider provenance
Imported records preserve provider attribution, source URLs, and source snapshots so data lineage stays inspectable.
AI evidence
AI features are expected to cite source records or refuse. Review evidence is governed by the AI-RSI operating procedure.
