Discovery-series sponsorship

Fund the next trail through art history.

Meta Museum turns public museum records into surprising, readable journeys without separating a claim from its source. A sponsor helps make one three-story series possible while every editorial decision stays independent.

The interesting connection is often the one that survives a correction.

Our wave story begins with a repeated word across two museum records. It moves through material and format, tests a tempting influence claim, and becomes more useful when the evidence points to a different artist.

The principle: a visual resemblance can open a question; only cited evidence can carry the claim.

What a sponsor funds

What the series includes

One bounded editorial commission designed for public learning, with sources and image reuse status kept close to every artwork.

  • Three public storiesEach follows a question across artwork records and names where interpretation begins.
  • One connected pathwayA series page gives the reader a clear route through the chain.
  • Source and rights reviewMuseum links, image attribution, reuse status, and correction paths remain visible.
  • A restrained sponsor creditName, approved link, and “Supported by” language—never an endorsement.

A bounded commission

How the work moves

  1. 01

    Agree the boundary

We confirm eligibility, conflicts, the series theme, dates, credit language, and a signed scope. The sponsor funds the work, not its conclusion.

  2. 02

    Build from public evidence

Meta Museum selects the artworks, follows museum records, checks image rights, writes the chain, and keeps uncertainty visible.

  3. 03

    Publish, correct, and report

Three stories and one series page go live with a plain-language sponsor credit. A closing report states the audience evidence and its limits.

Evidence, not theater

What measurement can and cannot prove

We can report

Eligible consented sessions, story opens, 25/50/90% completion, saves, shares, and learning responses when collected—with denominators and limitations.

We cannot promise

Traffic, leads, favorable coverage, exclusivity, or audience demand. Current audience demand and paid sponsorship are not yet proven; zero is a valid result.

Independence stays visible

Editorial and rights boundary

Meta Museum selects evidence, framing, conclusions, sources, corrections, and publication timing. Sponsorship conveys no artwork-image, quotation, trademark, collection-data, or reuse rights.

Explicit exclusions

  • Sponsors cannot select conclusions, suppress uncertainty, review unpublished findings, or place tracking pixels.
  • The offer does not guarantee traffic, leads, exclusivity, artwork-image rights, or favorable coverage.
  • No advertorial, product endorsement, audience targeting, tracking pixel, reader-data transfer, or claim that sponsorship is a charitable donation.
